First, we will formulate an individualized plan for your student. I typically tutor students one-on-one, and the sessions run for a full hour. If you're in the Tehachapi area, I tutor out of my home office. If you are not local to Tehachapi, I hold remote tutoring sessions using an interactive whiteboard, www.webwhiteboard.com.

How does tutoring work with homeschooled students?
Hi! My name is Sue Rice. I am a proud graduate of USC with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Go Trojans! For many years, I was a project engineer specializing in structural analysis for the aerospace, energy, and automotive industries. In 2002, I started a math tutoring business in Orange County, CA. Since then, I have tutored public, private, and homeschool students from all over Southern California. I have even helped many students all the way through their college math classes! I currently work part-time as a math editor and content tester for www.ixl.com, an online K–12 education website. I truly enjoy helping students of all abilities to be successful! I want each of my students to reach their goals, and then keep reaching!
